Trevor Ariza contributed with stellar defense along with a career playoff high of 21 points of his own. Despite a dismal 1st half from the Jazz Deron Williams and Carlos Boozer made a concentrated effort to get their team back in the game. Williams finished with 16 points and 17 assists while Boozer had 27 points and 9 rebounds. The Jazz missed starting center Memhet Okur. The 41% 3pt shooter missed game 1 with a hamstring injury and is questionable for game 2 as well.
