Breaking News: Amare Out For Season

Apparently Amare Stoudemire was hit in the eye once again during the Phoenix Suns route of the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night. Despite scoring 42 points, Amare aggravated a previous eye injury he sustained in the preseason this year. He will have season ending surgery to repair a partially detached retina in his right eye. Although Amare should fully recover from this injury, it is a crushing blow to the Suns who looked to make a run for a higher seed in the Western Conference playoff as they reentered the beloved faced pasted style offense with the new head coach Alvin Gentry.
